Director of Energy/h2>
Rob is a graduate of Western Illinois University, class of 1978. Rob took over his ailing father’s business when it was a four employee broker of P.O.P. (Point of Purchase) displays. He decided to build his own factory at the age of 29 in Rockford, IL. He started with 42,000 square feet of production and office space with 12 employees. Thirteen years later he sold the company after it had grown to over 350,000 square feet and nearly 400 employees. Rob’s company, MYCO, became the largest supplier of checkout displays in America and serviced all the major magazine publishers and candy companies that put their products in the nation’s supermarkets & discount stores like Safeway, Kmart, Walmart, Kroger, Walgreens, Target and many, many others.
Rob has been honored with several awards including Chicagoland Entrepreneur of the Year, Job Creator of the Decade, National Blue Chip Enterprise Award and National Finalist for Inc. Magazine’s Entrepreneur of the Year.
Rob knows your company suffers from the same pains his did and understands the importance of keeping costs down. After studying the complex world of energy procurement, Rob is taking his expertise to other business people around the country that have operations in deregulated states to see what alternatives, if any, they need to explore.
